Harold Arts 2011

Harold Arts offers residency opportunities for artists and musicians. Situated in the visually striking outlands of Appalachian Ohio, Harold provides a dynamic forum in a remote environment that aims to stimulate conceptualization and activate alternate perspectives of artistic processes. Residents enjoy shared studio facilities, comfortable accommodations, and chef-prepared meals. As a platform for independent and collective production and dissemination of new work, Harold facilitates interdisciplinary dialogue and exchange. This dedicated satellite experience fosters a concentrated organic discourse between residents, serving as a springboard for the cultivation of national and international relationships. The organization’s growing network of working artists, musicians, cultural producers and creative partners yields ongoing opportunities for its affiliates.
