Longman’s One-night Stand
THE EAGLE HAS LANDED …or, at least, perched briefly: A one-night-only art installation (left) takes up residence in the much buzzed about but yet-to-open inn above Longman & Eagle’s dining rooms (right).Six Rooms at Longman & Eagle
We’re guessing you’re familiar with the Logan Square hotspot Longman & Eagle. And you’ve probably heard tell of the six yet-to-open hotel rooms on the gastropub’s second floor. But you haven’t seen them. No one has. Until now. For one night-only, the local organization Harold Arts hosts an art installation spread across the upstairs inn-to-be, with works by a bevy of local artists, plus live music by Joe Adamik and Jim Becker (Califone), Matt Lux (Isotope 217), and Dan Bitney (Tortoise). We respectfully suggest you RSVP now.
GO: June 5 at 9. $15 includes a Belgian ale and snacks. Longman & Eagle, 2657 N Kedzie. RSVP required: rsvp@haroldarts.orgOriginal post available here.
